How To Get The Best New Car Deal

Everything is "Negotiable"  - You can always get a better price, especially in times of economic downturn.
Here's how to negotiate a better car deal without leaving the house.

1. Search the Internet to find at least 4 good dealerships.

2. Ask Dealers to get specific.

3. Organise quotes from least expensive to dearest

Dealer A = €20,000,  Dealer B = €21,500, Dealer C = €22,500, Dealer D = €23,000

4. Ask each dealer to beat the best price.

5.E-mail Dealer D and ask him to beat the best quote of €20,000.

If he says he can do it for €19,500 - make that the best price.

6. E-mail Dealer C and ask him if he can beat €19,500.

If he says he can do it for €19,000 - make that the best price.

7. E-mail Dealer B and ask him if he can beat €19,000

If he says he can do it for €18,750 - make that the best price

8. E-mail Dealer A and tell him you have a quote of €18,750.

He will probably say he will make it €18,500 but will make nothing on the deal.

That's a saving of €4,000 from the dearest quote.

The great thing about this negotiation strategy is that it’s not a secret! Even when you make car dealers aware that you are getting competitive bids, they will still work with you because they want to sell cars.
