Irish Presidential Election

The Presidential Election Candidates and who will people choose to represent our country.
Who among these would best represent the people of Ireland?
Will they say if not do anything to elevate to this position?
The debate goes on and there's less than a week left for citizens to choose.
Most of the candidates will stick with the Status Quo and say what they believe the electorate want to hear. Peter Casey commentated on a delicate matter regarding "The Traveling Community" and whether he believes he was right or wrong he should have kept his opinions to himself and not alienated voters. All candidates agree on their not being a "Hard Border" after Brexit and to meeting with Donald Trump in order to keep up our good relationship with the US. We depend on US Multi-Nationals for investment and jobs. All agree that Presidential Expenses should be accounted for and some are not concerned when it comes to salary. All agree that both men and women should have equal rights.
I think, a President is merely a figurehead and has limited input when it comes to policy, law or constitution. He represents our country at home and abroad and whoever is elected deserves the respect that goes with that position. It's now in the hands of the electorate and they must decide.
